This Anecdote From a True GOAT Will PERMANENTLY Change How You View Your Potential!
Timeless wisdom from "Stan the Man"
Hello, my dear friend! How lovely of you to join me today! I AM so grateful that you are here - because I have a lesson for you today that I am so excited to share!
But before we get to that, I have an important message I need to share first, so indulge me a minute while I go into a bit of preamble. But believe me, it will be worth your time to read it!
This will be my first paid post.
I composed this post yesterday. First, while walking my dogs at lunchtime, dictating it into my iPhone, and then later developed it into a full lesson.
When I was done, I looked at it and thought "This is really valuable. Maybe even good enough to make it a paid post!"
Then I asked this question"Should I make this a paid post?”. I wrote it down in my Kindle, and then I went to sleep, confident in the knowledge that my question would be answered.
And this is the answer I received from the divine:
“Nothing is received without asking first. The only reason you do not ask is because you believe you are unworthy. You judge yourself and find yourself to be lacking. The Son of God is not unworthy, and yours is every good thing that you ask for. Do not hesitate in this, for it is the next step of your unfoldment. Trust in this. I have never led you astray. And I do not do so now."
Now some of you may decide that I'm an awful person, become disheartened and cynical, and unsubscribe two seconds after reading this.
Others may just skip over it and wait until I publish a free post.
Both of these I understand and accept. That is your path, and it is fine. It is not mine to change it.
But for those of willing to take the next step, there is a profound insight here that has the power to change EVERYTHING about your life - if you take its message to heart.
I hope and pray that you dare to take that step - and make that transformation.
And Now, on with the story!
I came upon this story many years ago, and it left an indelible impression on me.
I’ve returned to it many times, when my spirit was lagging, and I needed a little “pick-me-up”, and it’s never failed to inspire me.
I hope it does the same for you!
Stan Musial, lovingly nicknamed “Stan the Man“ by his fans and teammates, was one of the greatest to ever lace up a pair of baseball cleats. So beloved was he by the people of Saint Louis, that they erected a statue to commemorate his legacy.
This short story gives an idea of his unshakable positive attitude.
One day, one of his St. Louis Cardinals teammates, a rookie who had just come up to the big leagues, approached him in the locker room, and said:
“This is a wonderful day! The sun is shining! I feel amazing! I feel like I can go out there today and get three hits! Maybe even four! What a day! Do you ever have days like that, Stan?”
The indomitable Musial considered the young lad and replied:
