Threads of Resistance, Threads of Grace
I called this episode “Pulling on the Threads” because it seems like that’s what life is doing to us right now. What the current regime is doing to us right now. Pulling on the threads of our soul sweaters to see how little they can leave us with.
Threatening to unravel our social fabric completely.
But there is another metaphor for threads that can serve us as we imagine something new. Something better.
Finding common threads.
Threads that wind through us.
Threads used to draw us closer.
Threads used to stitch together all the disparate squares, the different colors, the varying patterns and textures to make something greater than the sum of its parts. A beautiful patchwork quilt of shared existence.
