I hear you. Ego definitely exists. I think the point I was trying to convey is that we shouldn’t feel guilty for wanting what we want. But we do have to examine our motivations and intentions carefully. To see if that aligns with the greater picture of the person we want to be. Are we buying into the illusions of lack and need that the ego sets forth?
Thanks for reading! Appreciate your perspective always!
I'm with you 100%. Have you heard of the idea of the choice of no choice? It is the idea that the ultimate choice is if we surrender our will to Gods. In this space, our desire IS for Gods will. There is a great passage in The Sophia Code that speaks to how we were original designed to have all our needs and our hearts desires met. We were not originally designed to suffer or be in want. Sometimes along our oversoul's path we choose struggles for our own growth or the evolution of others or Boddhisatva type stuffs but in general, I believe as you do that knowing we are worthy of living a golden, beautiful, blessed life is so crucial (and most of us are working on living into the belief in that worthiness. I know your heart is pure. I also know in the history of some new age ideas are this stuff have become twisted in ways that subtly distort things to mean ego is god and justify the worst things being "there is no good and evil" in the way that Palpatine meant it rather than in the way Rumi understood it.
I really love and appreciate your openness that I feel comfortable to share perspectives! Thank you for being "that person" that it's cool to really dialogue with! I so appreciate you! :) :)
Thank you for restacking Sandra!
To me we are an aspect of God - of God, one with God. We are Divine, Yes. But we each, from the little human perspective are not The God.
While I recognize that we are One with God
I also do believe there is ego-Creation/miscreation (from ego desire) that can harmful to others - I'm not for it
Vs Creating in alignment with our souls, our oversoul, divine will
