The brain controls the body
And fools itself
into thinking
It is thinking.
Voluntary,
involuntary
Sympathetic,
parasympathetic
Still it is the body.
A bird in a lushly padded cage
Imprisoned
Forever in the head
Obsessed
with head things
And head thoughts.
sensory inputs
of shadow civilizations.
It is not you.
Jesus spent three days
In his sepulchre
Before breaking free.
You’ve spent all your life.
The ancients knew
we have a sixth sense.
Now we call it thinking.
Think like that.
Think with the mind
not the brain.
The heart-mind
is closer to the truth
Of existence.
Be open.
Let the heart-mind
Show you the way
To your soul.
Let it be the bringer
Of the spirit song.
The gateway
