Will You Be Willing?

Will you?

Will you be willing?

Willing to listen to the voice of love?

Will you allow it to rise above

The continuous cacophony of nonsensical notions

That poison the body like perilous potions

That enters your mind and grabs hold of it

and will not let go of it.

Like one-inch-thick vice grips

Forever squeezing tighter

as mindfulness slips

Out of sight

Out of view.

So what now will you do?

Will you answer the call

From Him above all?

Do as directed.

Let not your fear be projected.

For that was your downfall.

But it will be no longer

For you have grown stronger.

Given up the right to be wronged

And found the place you belonged,

All along,

Was within your heart, that beats even now

With the harmonious hum of the universal glow.

The gift I bestow

With the words of this poem

Is greater than any other,

for simply to know Him

Is to know all are brothers.

Or siblings or sisters,

all children of the divine.

Together forever,

in life’s circle entwined.
